Check Processing
When the Check-Processing Solution was developed along with its associated software
components, key objectives were established to aid in installing, implementing and
operating the system.
The objectives were as follows:

- Provide ACH processing
- Reduce cost of processing checks
- Reduce float
- Relieve the entry level personnel from technology
level involvement
- Provide a method to ensure checks are processed
accurately.
- Provide a method to expedite deposits in to the
user’s bank account.
- Eliminate the cost of courier pick-up.
- Provide a WEB based system to minimize telecommunications
costs
- Use Microsoft technology
- Provide multi-level client security
- Provide security between capture and the central
office
- Reduce the cost and delay of return checks
- Provide a low cost check capture terminal
- The system must be easily justified
- Use Microsoft as an alternative to finance the
total installation including the hardware, software, installation and training to
provide an attractive total cost of ownership package.
- Provide a multi-function system for capture level
and corporate use.
