Complete Robust Functionality
Image Secure Enterprise contains all the modules and functionality needed for data
extraction. Included is form scanning and input, batch handling and Image reprocessing
in preparation for OCR. Character recognition encompasses printed, hand typed and
hand written, bar codes-(12 one dimensional types and PDF 417), optical marks, data
verification and export. The result is a comprehensive system for the administration
and management of data extraction, storage and security.
Proven Advanced Character Recognition™ Technology
The system applies several character recognition engines using a sophisticated voting
architecture and working closely with dictionaries for the tasks of recognizing
printed and written characters. This improves character recognition results and
reduces the possibilities of falsely recognizing characters. The OCR engine utilizes
revolutionary technology that has been field proven for many years in a large variety
of demanding applications.
High read rate
To obtain a high read rate, the system employs a one time mapping/template technology
that requires less than one minute per document. This one time process uses a technology
that allows the system to know exactly where to look on a document for the data
requested by the user.
System -
A system contains all the definitions and settings of a particular set of
forms, their processing instructions and a separate location for data. The system
may contain an unlimited number of different forms, consisting of any number of
pages and lines.
Data Correction and Verification - This process is implemented at the conclusion
of the automated data recognition process. At this point data should be verified
and corrected. Inevitably, there are instances that data cannot be recognized, and
in some instances, data may be falsely recognized. To reduce and avoid incomplete
or falsely recognized data, the correction/verification process is used. Only data
that is identified as not correctly processed, or suspicious, is recognized for
verification.
Data correction is one of the outstanding features of the system. The system guides
the verifier by highlighting potential trouble ‘hot spots’ that can be corrected
on the fly, if identified as a problem. The correction process is very simple and
designed for speed and accuracy.
Data Export - after all data is verified and accepted, it is exported in a desired
format chosen by the client. The data is then stored in databases or other applications
for further processing in a manner based on the requirements of the client.
